One link, one code. About five minutes.
Fun Layer runs inside the browser source your streaming app already has. You won't ever need to download, unzip, rename or move a file: it's one link and one code. Stuck on any step? Reply to the email your link came in and we'll walk you through it.
Your personal link
It arrives with your pack. If you're just looking around, this demo link plays with pretend viewers:
Add a Browser Source
In the Editor, click + on the Sources panel, pick Browser Source, name it Fun Layer, then Add Source.
Paste your link and set the size
Paste your link into URL. Set Width 1920 and Height 1080. Click Done.
Put it on top
Drag Fun Layer to the top of the Sources list so it sits over your game and webcam. Throws aim at the bottom-right corner, so that's the best spot for your cam.
Enter the code on Twitch
A card with a code appears in your preview. Go to twitch.tv/activate on your phone or PC, signed in as your channel, enter the code and click Authorize.
- Do this before you go live: the card is visible to anyone watching.
- Your channel point rewards appear on their own a few seconds later.
Hear the effects
In the Mixer, click the gear, open Advanced Audio Settings, and set Fun Layer's Audio Monitoring to Monitor and Output.

If something's off
That happens if Fun Layer hasn't been used for 30 days. Enter the new code at twitch.tv/activate.
You were signed in to Twitch as someone else. Sign in as your channel and use the new code that appears.
Channel points need to be turned on in your Creator Dashboard. Turn them on, then right-click the source and choose Refresh.
Open the source's properties and click Refresh cache of current page.
Check Audio Monitoring (step 5) and that Fun Layer isn't muted in your mixer.
